$20 Target gift card for creating baby registry @ Target

Target gives you $20 gift card for creating a baby registry on their website. They send you a dummy gift card after a week of creating registry. You take this card and a print out of the baby registry from their website, to the store and they give you $20 gift card.

do gifts from the registry have to be purchased first? i know some places you only get the "reward" after a guest or yourself has bought something specific or whatever like when we registered at bed bath and beyond you had to put a certain amount of stuff on the registry or x amount of certain brands had to be purchased in order for the "reward".. or do i just go there instead of other places before my shower and i get 20$ just for going there to register? lol sorry long question

I did this the day that i posted it and not long after i got a book from them and attached was a card that you take with your registry to target and they gave me the 20 gift card. it wasnt on the website either when i did it. No clue if it is still good or not, but worth a shot. the registry only takes a min to create so... well worth it if it is still active.

all i did was click on the link create a registry. i didnt buy anything from the registry at all. a few weeks after i got a book in the mail and attached to the back of the book was a fake gift card. i took the fake card and a printed copy of my registry to a target store and they gave me a real gift card. My registry only had like 20 items on it (cause i hate shopping at target..so expensive, plus they have classic winnie im doing the current winnie so..lol)

I am 32 weeks pregnant and I created my baby registry two weeks ago at Target. But I have not recieved any gift card or any kind of mail from them. Do I need to talk to someone at the store? Does anyone has got the gift card after creating baby registry?

I already have a registry with them, the link only let me view my registry. I'm having repeat c-sec dec 24th..this would be useful...if I figure it out I'll share!

This must have been a one time thing. I just completed my baby registry tonight and no gift card and no mention of one. I also didn't get one when I registered 2 years ago when I was pregnant with my son. All I can think of is that it was a promotion that was going on in that store in order to bring in more business.


*****I guess I was wrong about this deal. I did receive my "dummy" gift car on the back of a baby catalog today. I took it along with my a copy of my baby registry and they gave me the real $20 gift card. It was very helpful to purchase some adorable outfits for our soon to be born baby girl!

I did this the other day. No problem at all, they gave me a 20$ gift card. Thanks so much! If I hadn't read this here I would have totally missed the coupon you need attached to the back of a cataloug they sent me.
