Avatar problem (Maybe it's me.)

I've managed to get the Avatar to show up next to my name, but it doesn't move, although it's supposed to be animated. I had this problem with a totally different graphic from a totally different web site too.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

busyness - did you download the graphic that you're using or are you just linking to it? If you downloaded it, did you try shrinking it or something?

I'm asking because an animated gif file is actually many different pictures that are in one file and when you try to shrink it or edit with a standard graphics package what happens is you usually wind up with just the one static image.

If you tell me the URL of the original file, I can download it for you & then repost it here in the correct size for an avatar. You can then download it onto your computer and then upload it as a custom avatar. (If that was confusing - just email or PM me & I'll walk you through it
