I believe that is correct.. one had to post something on the boards in order to win... and since this is his/her first post (the one in this forum) I don't believe they would qualify.

1. Rules:
No purchase necessary. Eligibility: Contests are offered to United States citizens and in Canada except where prohibited by law to anyone at least 18 years old. 2. Sweepstakes Duration:

A visit is constituted by pulling up any Deal of Day web page. InfoMedia, Inc. will act as judging organization whose decisions will be final and binding in all matters relating to the sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of registered members.

4. Prizes:
Potential winners member names are listed on main page at Dealofday.com. If named member claims prize within the allotted time frame, he or she will win a $25 Super Certificate from GiftCertificates.com, to be awarded as soon as possible.

5. Notification of Winners/Claiming Prize:
Potential winner's registered user name will appear on Dealofday.com main page. The selected member will have until 11:59 pm EST of the SAME DAY to send an email to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now], claiming the prize. The email must contain the member's REAL NAME, USER NAME and the EMAIL ADDRESS associated with your Deal of Day membership. Time of claim will be determined by timestamp on email sent, adjusted for the time zone of the sender. Claims timestamped after 11:59 pm of the same day will forfeit the prize. If prize is NOT claimed by 11:59 pm EST, the prize is forfeited and no prize will be awarded for that day. All prize winners will receive prizes by mail or email as applicable.

6. Prize Restrictions:
No substitution or cash equivalent of prize permitted except at InfoMedia, Inc.'s option for a prize of comparable or greater value. No prize transfers permitted. All federal, state and/or local taxes related to awarded prizes are the responsibility of the winners.

Hey Gang!

Here be the answers to your questions...

1) The computer emails me with the winner every day. I have no record of Kittu being selected. Nor have I received an email claiming a prize for Kittu.

2) The rules changed, but the pages have not been updated. We should have this taken care of shortly.

Basically, the way it works now is this. Every day you visit you are eligible, whether you post or not. As long as you are logged in to the site and visit the main page or the message boards, you are automatically entered into the daily drawing.

Sorry for any confusion! We'll get those new rules up shortly...

Ok! Thanks for the info.. interestingly enough, the computer did NOT notify me on that day, so I am going to honor this prize. :-)
