why is the daily winner changed 3 times today?

Hi there, I always wanted to win the $25 supercertificate.com...and what bothers me is...this morning around 9am, the winner is (i dont remember)...and around 10:30am, the winner changed to another person...and now, 11:30, the winner changed again..i am not sure if it will change again at 12:30, but...what happened??
by the way, what are the percentage that i will be draw?? how many member that actually qualified for the daily contest?? 100,000??....if it is a 5 figure or 6 figures number....what are the odds that a person won TWICE IN 4 days???? this happend twice already, yesterday, it was cinifini...and i am 100% sure within last 3 days, cinifini had won already....i am just curious, how can he be so lucky that win twice within 3 days?? and i know that around 1-2 months ago, there is another guy that won the contest twice within 4 days..........may be the qualification is not what i was thinking? then that means that not many people qualified, therefore, we all dont get draw??????

Ok, so you know it's a problem,but shouldn't YOU check the page each day??? I mean, come on guys, you can say it's a "system error" but noone keeps track of who wins? Someone has to tell you that one the first page, the same person won for 2 or 3 days?
You know there's a "problem" but a poster has to tell you that once again, the same person won? Someone has to post that the contest is once again the same name?
Sorry, that's very suspicious that you aren't checking, that the same people are winning over and over.
The same name won yesterday and today.
As far as the chance of winning twice in a couple days. I don't buy it. Sorry, over 100,000 to win a day, winning twice in 3 days.
I believe you have a better shot of legimately winning grab a cab than winning here.

If I were you, I'd calm down before I make any more posts. Sounds like you are pretty riled up.
Now, if you were familiar w/ anything "WEB" you would know that this is a distinct possibility and not some far fetched thing or excuse. If he's saying thats the problem, then believe me - it is!
It also sounds like you don't follow who exactly runs this website. To the best of my knowledge, Mayor does a pretty good job of that out of his home, with his techies and other ppl whom he pays in other states!
I think that you need to give Mayor and others a little bit more credit - the $25 gc is icing on the cake to the great website, awesome deals, and fun chat forum that they have here. It doesn't matter to me if I win - in fact, if I do, you can have the gc! (Print this page out now...)

POPEMS....was the winner before..within 2 weeks..i am 100% sure.....i saw his name within 2 weeks...
how can it happen??
over 20000 people register dod....i assume over 10000 people post 1 msg atleast...
what are the odds that same person can win TWICE within 1-2 week???
it happend 3 times in total already..

if there is a server problem that leads to the name to appear on and on...so, if a person won 2 days in a row, does he/she still get another $25 dollar supercertificate???

Greetings,

Due to several extensive changes in the database of the forums the random winner was malfunctioning. I have however gone through and completely re-coded it from the ground up.

After several tests to ensure that it worked I did a check to see the average ratio of what it would be to win with the new random selection system and found it to be a 1 in 3428 chance of winning at the time tested.

Apologies for the delay in repairing this however I have been extremely busy ensuring the boards are operational and stability is maintained. As I am the only one who codes for DealofDay my work load can often become weighted causing delays in some repairs, and there are only so many 15 to 18 hour days I can take.

actually my wife, statchmo, nabbed. I assume she grabbed it from Nick.com or whatever network carries them. I edited out the other background stuff with Photoshop. I'll probably get a knock on my door from a copyright attorney soon, though.
