MirandaS30 has great potential
I was the member of the day yesterday
and I sent the email with my name user name and email but I didn't get a conformation of any sort, does anyone know if you get a conformation or how I could know if everything went ok with confirming?

Mayor runs several different sites, the World Village family of sites, so he is very busy and sometimes he doesn't answer emails promptly.

I agree, he is very busy. I never got a confirmation ... but eventually did receive the gift certificate by email. You may need to remind him if you don't get it.
