Where to post?

I am training for a marathon in June and raising money for the American Stroke Association. I have a donation website where people can use their CCs to donate and add to my stroke heroes list. I would like to ask the DoD members for help, but I don't know where to post the link. Please help!

I would put it in affiliate spam, even though it's not really spam you do have a referral link in there that will earn you money, just make sure you follow the posting rules.

You could also just post about it on General Chit Chat and have people PM you for the link. That might get you more exposure.

This is one for Affiliate Spam! Like Jennifer said, although it is not really spam, it is to make YOU money & therefore that's the best place for it since it's not a business to purchase something from.

Thank you both for your suggestions. I don't know if it makes any difference, but it doesn't make me personally any money, other than to reach my goal. It's all for charity.

Kat, did you remove my post in the General Chit-Chat? I just did what Jennifer suggested, WITHOUT A LINK, and as I said above, it's not like I'm getting any money for it. I don't see how it's any different than any other member posting about what they're up to, or asking for support for whatever. I realize the difference between this and voting for a sick dog is the money, but it's all for charity and NO ONE is going to look at the Affiliate Spam forum unless they are told it is there! Please explain this to me, because I'm just not getting it! Maybe I just need to post it differently?
