Kendryck Steward, left, and Michael Steward Bridges were abducted Monday from a Fort Worth TX residence in the 5000 block of Calumet Street, near Rosedale Plaza Park. The two-year-old, Kendryck Steward, was described this way: 2 1/2 feet tall 30 pounds braided hair tan/yellow/green button-down shirt brown corduroy pants white tennis shoes yellow and blue Winnie the Pooh backpack The 11-month old, Michael Steward Bridges, was placed in a blue/yellow/red car seat. He was described this way: 22 pounds black curly hair two bottom teeth red/yellow/blue shirt jeans green/blue/gray tennis shoes Police said the children -- ages two and 11 months -- were last seen in the custody of a woman in an older 4-door tan vehicle about 8:30 a.m. The woman was described as a black female, 5'-7" tall and between 30 and 40 years old. The woman was wearing a pink scarf in her hair with a white T-shirt and black sweat pants. thank God they were found safe Amber Alert Issued Monday September 23rd. Kendryck Steward, left, and Michael Steward Bridges were picked up and delivered to the WRONG DAYCARE. This is an example of the type of mix-up that can occurr with the Amber Alert System. We will continue to post Alerts anytime a Law Enforcement Agency issues one.

I appreciate that you kept an eye out for this information anyway, Deb, even if it was just a false alarm. I suggest putting this information in General Chit Chat next time you post as well. Even if it is suspected that these children have been abducted, even a little bit of early notification could help. Thanks for posting this! |
