SEARCHES

Why is it when I copy and paste a link to the "Search this Forum" it says no matches are found, and when I post it a previous one pops up? This has happened more than once, so how do I search and REALLY find it?

Amen to that! I have the same problem I hate repeating posts, but when I search and get nothing found, I end up repeating a post anyway

Same here I guess it's probably the browser(just an opinion)

Works fine on other sites--just not here.

sorry about that, we are working on the search feature now, hopefully it is resolved soon....but keep trying in the search, most of the time it's because the op hasn't posted the url link in the title (which we try and recommend you do that when posting so the search feature will work)...hope that helps, i've reposted a few times myself after using the search so i know it's frustrating! thanks for all the post though reposts or not, we love them all

Thanks for your answer. I would recommend everyone copy and paste the entire URL to the search box so it will be consistent and easier to find.

While I'm here, would it be possible to include the reply box at the bottom of each post we select so that there is no download wait?

Please give examples of the search terms used so I may attempt to duplicate the problems you are experiencing.

At the bottom it says search this forum and I copy and paste something like this:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

Most of the time it's not there so I go ahead and repost only to find someone else had earlier and I didn't find it.
