Hey All,

We have encountered a couple problems on the Deal Talk message boards as of late.

1) Useless posts made in order to earn an Amazon.com gift certificate

In order to bring a close to this problem, we are discontinuing the gift certificate promotion effective IMMEDIATELY.

2) Abuse of the moderators.

Realize that we have a large number of people who use these boards. It is IMPOSSIBLE to please everyone. The moderators do the best job they can to keep things free of clutter. However, there is NO call for abusing these people who volunteer their time for this site! It is just plain RUDE and I would ask that it cease immediately.

Let's get back to the basic reason we are here, to save money and have FUN!

Greetings everyone,

From 7/11 on we will be doing maintenance on all forums where moderators will be removing any expired deals, freebies or older non-crucial posts. This is to further clean the boards of clutter and to ensure that things operate on a smooth basis where it is easier to find useful or informative postings.

During this time many posts will be deleted however this will make the boards as a whole easier to navigate and easier to find deals, freebies or information that is up to date and of interest to the community.
