Re: Grocery Bills

I probably spend about $100 a week, including the necessaries, (laundry soap, TP, etc.) for a family of 6.

I would say the majority of my grocery money goes to buy meats and fresh foods, like fruits and veggies. We're a meat and potatoes kind of family, with meat at almost all meals. For me, meat is the biggest expense.

Summer shopping is WAY different for me than non-summertime shopping, since during school the kids eat breakfast and lunch at school 5 days a week. That takes a HUGE amount off my grocery bill, as all thats left is dinners and 3 meals a day on the weekends, (plus snacks of course)
