We've all heard the jingle 'Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there.' It turns out State Farm is also there when you need advice raising babies and kids. They offer a 'Caring for Your Baby and Young Child' by the American Academy of Pediatrics. And the AAP knows babies and children! The book is full child rearing advice from birth up until 5 years of age. Make your request by calling 1-888-SF EVENT ( 1-888-733-8368 ). Their office hours are Monday-Friday from 6 AM until 7 PM (EST).
When we called, we spoke with a rep who took our contact information. The book arrived a couple days later. Top notch!
To avoid any confusion, State Farm had previously given away the books 'Mayo Clinic Complete Book of Pregnancy' and 'A Baby's First Year.' These two books were replaced by the 'Caring for Your Baby and Young Child' in 2006. |
