I'm so sorry you're going through such a difficult time right now. I will keep you in my prayers. In the mean time, do you work with a social worker? With your medical conditions the hospital or your doctors should have (or should) make one available to you. There is a wealth of information and assistance available through them. Be as candid with them as you have been with us.

Being from Michigan myself, I know the economy is horrible. The entire nation is now unfortunatley experiencing the recession and loss of jobs that we have been burdened with for several years. Detroit has been hit particularly hard.

Many churches offer shuttle service, or will have a member of the congregation pick you up to attend services. Don't let gas money hold you back...God will find a way to get you in church if you reach out to him and others. You will find a wealth of support at church...spiritual and otherwise.
