Even if you assume/agree with the statement war on "radical Islam". Is that the U.S. new policy to attack a country if a select group inside the country is considered "radical Islam". Some may argue that it's better to be on the offense then defense, and that to some degree holds water, but do you want troops put in xyz country for xyz amount of time-I saw McCain saying off the cuff that 100 years in iraq if necessary-stating japan as a example 
We have cities in the U.S. that are war zones like Philadelphia. Heck I'd rather see the mayors, governors, federal officials trying to solve "radical city problems". http://abcnews.go.com/Nightline/story?id=3951568&page=1
