I don't believe in Revelations. Of all of the Bible, I find Revelations the least credible. The problem with Revelations is that it encourages people to look forward to the end of the world because that's when Jesus is supposed to return. The problem with this is that Revelations ends up becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy. So "the Beast" ends up being anyone who fits the role. I'm sure back in World War II, Hitler fit that role well; as did Stallin; or Saddam Hussein. If you go backwards in time, there are countless tyrants who people thought had to be the anti-Christ, but guess what? The world apparently didn't end then and it's not ending now. One day, the Earth will die - this is just the way of the Universe. I do not think it will be as a result of a cataclysmic supernatural battle though and I do not think it'd mark the end of human existence. A lot of religions talk about the end of the world, but I'd prefer to think they are metaphorical.
