So I now have plans of getting on a treadmill for 30mins a day, Will this do anything for me with a steady diet? Then after the fat is lost i have huge ambitions to really work on my upper body and have pecks which are solid and defined. Thats the main priority.

Also is it worth doing sit ups if you have a bit of a belly on you?

So guys.... Hit me with your fountain of knowledge

Thanks
Hi Brook,

Beside being a Therapeutic massage specialist, also worked as a personal trainer. Hopefully I can share my fountain of knowledge with you! The reason why people can't lose weight no matter how much they diet or run the treadmill and work out is because they're consuming too much carbs and more calorie intake per day.

It's not what you eat but how much you eat of that product! (Eat in moderation) Stay away from bread and pasta, If you like bread, my advise is peel the bread dough in the bread off!

Calorie intake per day should be 1400 to 1500....Anything more you won't lose any weight and make sure the carb intake per day is less than 100 carbs. Shoot for around 75 carbs a day and the weight will fall right off.

Be aware of the food labels as hard as that might be, Drink plenty of water which flushes your system out. You'll be working out at the gym and dieting for nothing if you do not maintain the proper calorie and carb intake daily. That's why people can't lose weight no matter how had they try!

As far as the sit ups, yes you can still do sit ups. my advise is to do crunches standing up, do crunches to both sides and right in the middle. It works better than the basic sit ups.

Good luck and hope everything works out for ya!
