Target isn't so hot either I have been a Target shopper for a long time now. I am starting to wonder why I even bother with them. They are not consistant with their policies. Target had the DVD's on major sale and DID NOT put "on rain checks or limited quantities, or seasonal merchandise-no rain checks" Not one of those statements was anywhere on the DVD page. So I went to get a rain check and was told no by a boy in electronics. I went over to customer service and the girl working was like you should be able to get a rain check b/c it does'nt say anything about not being able to get one, etc, etc. Well basically someone talked to someone who got to someone in charge and said that they weren't doing rain checks. It was hilarious watching the front manager and staff desperately search for a statement like the one above--knowing that Target had screwed up and didn't put one in by the DVDs.
I was able to get rainchecks on movies last year. My point being is if you are going to put items in the ad without a no rain check warning--then not give you one--why bother stating no rain checks at all? If they are just going to pick and choose items regaurdless of if they state that? I went out of my way to go get movies they had left with the intentions of getting rainchecks on the rest simply b/c they did not say no rain checks. On any other day that means you can get one. I am not happy and Target is just trying to cover their butt.
they need to have a CONSISTANT policy for rainchecks. No just pick and choose regaurdless of what the ad says. |
