Employer gets cheap labor, but Illegal Alien can't keep it

This is a different twist. I feel bad for the guy, but it appears that he is a illegal alien(not a legal immigrant at the time). This is a good example of why you need to go after the employer(s)...Ok getting back to this story-What's the right thing to do in this case in regards to money earned? Donation? fines? for violation of U.S. laws etc? My initial reaction is too bad he came into the U.S. illegally so any money earned is illegal, but then I ask myself who should get this money?
