| Re: Going Voip to cut cost on long distance calls
I don't have a landline, and use Packet 8 VOIP service. I'm really happy with it. At 1st, I had problems with call sound quality, but I got a better quality phone and that took care of the problem. There are several things to consider with VOIP service, like 911 service (have to be sure that the one you choose offers that), and the fact that if your internet connection goes down, you lose your phone service. I can call the whole USA, Great Britain and a few other countries in that area for free and my monthly bill is only $35. I'm sold on it!
