| Re: prayers for mom-in-law Still sticking to the almonds daily (& multivitamin & fish oil capsule) that are all supposed to help me be healthy. Tough job, but somebody's gotta' do it & I'm alone now & need to make sure I take care of "me"!
I am having mixed feelings about trying to visit MIL since it's at least 2.5 hour drive each way & because of her Alzheimer's. Christmas of 2005 - she did not even recognize my hubby (her son). Last Christmas we couldn't stay too long since she gets very aggitated when her "routine changes" & since we don't visit her 5 days a week like SIL, she was very anxious & it was a short visit.
I'd be visiting more for myself, & out of respect for my hubby & my SIL & BIL. I'd have to make sure weather wasn't rainy & I did not travel at night too, so as not to make my driving worse for others on the road. I just get really stressed not knowing exactly where I'm going & hubby's always drove & I'm so-o bad with sense of direction that if a road in the mountains was closed or something I'd be so uptight. |
