| Re: The question from a new user
Ditto everything Pearlie said! You can usually tell right away which sites are spam freebies, as we call them. There will be a lot of fine print on the page & require you to complete offers in order to get the freebie. We try and get rid of those posts as quickly as we can. Otherwise, I have had a great experience with freebies. Most usually come and I get very little junk mail because of them. At times, you will find that sites giving away freebies will require you to join their mailing list in order to receive the freebie, so you may want to create a new email address just for freebies, so that the mailing lists (which you can unsubscribe from) don't junk up your regular inbox. Hope all that info helps! Feel free to PM any of the mods if you have questions!
