You can touch up your roots with Clairol Nice & Easy Root Touch up kit; you get a neat little comb with it and enough to do your part; less messy than the full-head kit, but you won't have enough to cover any extras, or any other areas if you ever change your part. I tried this one time, but then just bought the full coloring box next time. If I recall, the price is about the same on either.
