How to trim your hair all by yourself!

I haven't had a trim in 6 months and my ends were dried out and needed cut off. I dislike the trims I get in a salon for various reasons. My hair is baby fine, wavy/curly, and I have a LOT of hair.

Last night I turned my head upside down and grabbed sections and dusted the ends lightly with a very sharp small cuticle scissors.

Then I followed the directions at this site for the slight U-shape. I performed all the steps 3 times and got the best trim of my life. That's the truth!
