We have recently been receiving a lot of e-mails concerning the legitimacy of our Swiffer® CarpetFlick® offer. Primarily, many people believe that we are spamming and/or selling personally-identifiable information. Let us address these issues briefly now.
When designing the offer page, we decided not to collect e-mail addresses because we realized that there are a number of malicious sites in existance that hoard e-mail addresses and spam them later on. Also, we can once again assure you that your personally identifiable
information will never be sold.
We have also received a good number of e-mails asking why their Swiffer® CarpetFlick® has not arrived yet. May we remind you that it can take up to 8 weeks to deliver, and the offer has only existed for a few days. Please bear with us.
Lastly, for those wondering what is "in it" for us, we are a maketing group that looks at the big picture. Without giving away our business model, we can assure you that the data gathered from our brief survey will, in the long run, turn a profit.
