Buy.com scrooged up again!
This was buy.com's last chance to impress me. I pre-ordered a video game for my son because I had a $10 coupon. The release date was December 12th and I know it released on that date because the stores had it in stock. Well, guess what, not only had they not even shipped it last time I checked, my request for a cancellation has gone unanswered...oh, and they CHARGED MY CARD as well.
Any other company that I have dealt with, including amazon.com has shipped out a pre-order either on the release date or the next day. I cannot understand how they can continue to exist with such incredibly bad service and shipping.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt and that was the last time. You know what they say...fool me once. I hope that others will think twice before using their company. Any perceived savings is definitely not worth the frustration.
Right now I'm out $100 because I had to make DH go out and pick it up for him. This was practically his only present, and I just know I'll be getting a duplicate in the mail...in a few weeks maybe.
