UPDATED INFORMATION!!! REGARDING THESE INSURANCE QUOTE FREEBIES!! PLEASE READ!

Just today, when I returned from the Thanksgiving holiday I received confirmation that all of the freebies posted from these insurance companies that go through InsureMe or their Affiliates are BOGUS! The company does not know who is posting them, but it is creating hassles for their agents, who end up calling people who only signed up wanting a freebie and of course for those who signed up for a freebie and just end up disappointed, so there WILL BE NO MORE POSTING OF THESE ALLOWED!! Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, and if you click to the site and all you see if a regular page, with no mention of a free offer, there probably isn't one!

Thank You.

I do not think these types of offers, which require a ton of personal information to get an insurance quote, before you can qualify for the freebie, qualify for our freebie board. They follow neither the spirit nor the rules of the freebie board.

So far, I have been removing the offers that require a lot of personal information to be submitted and I have instructed my moderators to do so as well. Please think before posting, if you have to complete a ton of personal information and jump through hoops to get the freebie, then it isn't really free nor worth the trouble and time.

There have been many complaints recently about these types of offers being posted, they are similar in many ways to the other freebies with a catch that we do not allow to be posted on our boards. A great number of our members do not like having to submit a lot of their personal information just to get a freebie.

If the site asks for more than your name, address, email, phone, and maybe a small survey, then it does not qualify for the freebie board and should not be posted here!

Thank you!
