Hi,
What you need:
1 Silk flower wreath, any size, usually department stores like W-mart have them in their craft department.
2. Silk flowers, don't buy the individual ones, buy the bunches - they're much less money and you can usually get a bunch w/6-7 flowers on it for $1.00 at either W-Mart or a Dollar Store - find colors you like and flo wers that are about the same size. Get about a half dozen bunches or so, less if you have a small wreath.
3. Wire snips, or anything that'll cut the stems of the flowers off, as they're wired.
Directions:
Cut your stems with the cutters, making it so that each bunch has been cut to separate into individual flowers - or leaves. Leave enough of a stem to that you can bend the wire into the grapevine wreath and it will stay for you, about 6", though more won't hurt.
Weave your flowers into the grapevines -- bending the stems as you go. Arrange your colors so that they look the way you like them and also so that they wreath is fairly full.
If you're doing a good-sized wreath, get a bunch or two of large pretty flowers and also medium and small, in compatible colors for what you like, as the larger ones will be the focal points of the wreath and the other flowers will enhance each other.
I've priced these, done, in craft stores and also sold them in craft shows for a lot less than the craft stores get - they're priced, around here, from $50.00-$125.00, and you can make them for about $10.00, sometimes under.
Easy and fun
