Running your a/c to stay cool inside removes moisture and humidity from your home.
* Help your a/c run more efficiently by wiping down tubs or shower stall walls until they are dry immediately after showering/shampooing. I do it while in the tub/stall soaking wet and by the time I'm finished my body is semi-dry and I then I apply moisturizing lotion. Seals better when you're a bit wet. [sidebar: I never buy expensive lotions... I use the cheapest hair conditioners and let it dry on my skin. Especially like White Rain and Suave and those brands are generally on sale and include 33% more. It's very dry in the desert and those work just fine!]
* If you let your dishes/pots and pans/glasses soak in the kitchen sink before washing, that soaking time equals moisture in your kitchen. Try to wash and dry instead of soaking.
* Dry up a wet mopped floor instead of letting it dry naturally.
* Water in pet dishes tends to evaporate quickly. Try using water with several ice cubes added - slows down evaporation time and water remains colder longer. Your pets will thank you with a happy dance.
* Drinking lots of water out of glasses that are left standing around to evaporate? Try using covered insulated coolers instead. Water stays colder longer too! You can put most any liquid inside the coolers.
