I did a search on Tyson. There is too much negativity about that company when I was a TOTAL follower (buyer) of them till then. I go 'Amish' (brand name) chicken now.
If the samples are treated they should say so and I think legally in some states. If not probably salted as canned 'C' rations if not dehydrated.
I can think of better things than food in the mail when no one has printed proof of the contants so far. To each his own but food is like NEW shoes vs used. This scares me but not surprises after my search.
