When my kids were all home I would take one weekend a month and just cook all weekend. I would make lasagna, stuffed peppers, stuffed cabbage, Meatballs and sauce, even soups and stews.....just about anything really. I would vacuum seal it or put it in ziploc freezer bags or bowls in some cases.(you can make them whatever size you like, I split the meals into single serving sizes so they could be quickly microwaved). I never found I needed special recipes, I just cooked as I normally would and freeze it.
