I find the health savings accounts to be kind of morbid? I mean it's as if you are PLANNING on getting sick.

Now I can see if someone who smokes/is obese, then they are likely to have health problems but still...$5000 in an account sure isn't going to go far if you need some major operation!

Why not just use the money you are putting into the account and get health insurance? I'll be honest I don't know much about it, because I am covered by my parents and the University has a free health center, in addition to really cheap student insurance.
