We finished school today! My 3rd grade son and I worked on a gift for his teacher together. He gave it to her today and she was just thrilled! Here's what we did... We choose about 10 different candy bar/snack items, ex. Nestle's Crunch, Baby Ruth, Skittles, 100 Grand Bar etc. On each candy bar will attached a note using the candy bar name and relating how great of a teacher she is/accomplishments during the year. We packed all inside a dollar store beach pail with tissue paper and gave it to her today. Here are a few examples that my son came up with: You "ALTOIDS" us First Name, Last Name, Today's Date. Another was, You really taught us how to "CRUNCH" numbers the right way. Lastly he created, Your salary should have been "100 Grand". Be creative and have fun. Your teacher(s) will love the originality.
