The answer is the flag draped caskets. By using them in his re election adds, the President is turning a horrific event that should be talked about, into its gravest personal form, people in caskets.
The dichotomy is the government, the press, and the victims’ families are not allowed to take photos of caskets arriving from Iraq into Dover, Delaware (by Presidential order), but the President is allowed to use flag draped caskets from 9-11 in a political add.
Odd set of scruples, isn’t it?
