I have to do gifts for an 8 year old boy that is part of my church's bus ministry. We went to Ross for other reasons and found an awesome remote control car for $5 and a "Matrix" set of a spy watch and walkie talkies for $3. I also took a Christmas tin and filled it with the left over Halloween candy.
Anything remote control for a boy that age and anything Barbie or girly for a girl. Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake are big.
