We got wood blinds for our house (LOVE THEM!), and don't remember seeing any ready-to-buy in the stores. We ordered them through
www.blindsgalore.com and had a perfect fit in each window. (Make sure you read the section on how to measure, because these are custom made.) We were very happy with the whole order (metal blinds, wood blinds, insulated cloth shades). They have many manufacturers and levels of quality to choose from. At the time we ordered, they had some very good coupon codes (+ ebates), but I think they tightened up on the coupon codes.
If you end up ordering online, don't forget to search for coupon codes and check if they are a participating store with ebates.com or another rebate place like that.
