My first set of dishes were Corelle.
Glad you like them, they should last you for quite awhile.

When they first came out they advertised them as unbreakable.
A big deal back then.
So, my dad bought my mom a set as soon as they came out.
Then, we had my aunt and uncle over.....my father pretended to get all mad at my mom and picked up a dish and smashed it on the floor. It must have hit just right because it broke into serval pieces.
My poor dad had his joke go wrong, my aunt & uncle were wondering what was going on. I guess I came from a strage family because we laughed about that for years.
Guess you had to be there.
