LocaChica is welcome here
ugh! What a PITA. I bought 2 Excedrin Quicktabs on the 14th, submitted my info, and today received the email that the rebate has been confirmed. (I paid $4.29, one rang up as $4.29 and the other free (0.00).) So I went to the site to make sure everything was correct and I noticed that I am to receive a refund of only $2.14 for the Quicktabs. I called and spoke with the dumbest (it's the only word I can use to describe her) rep you could imagine. I explained to her numerous times that I paid $4.29 so I should receive a $4.29 rebate. I couldn't get it through her head that the price was NOT $2.14 for each, it was $4.29 for one, while the other was free. She said that the maximum allowed is $4.69, but the reason I was getting $2.14 is because I didn't pay $4.69. what?! I know that. DUH! After explaining AGAIN, she then said I'm not getting $4.29 because I'm supposed to pay sales tax. Apparently, she thought the item was $2.14 and totaled $4.29 after tax. ROFL!! OMG. aaaaaaaaaaaack!!

I was soooooooooo tempted to yell at this bozo, but asked to speak with a supervisor instead. Mike assured me that I'd be credited the difference. sheesh.

Just thought I'd warn you in case it happens to you. Oh yeah, if it does happen and you decide to call to receive the difference, if you get a rep by the name of SALLY... run!! Ask to speak with someone else, hang up and call again, whatever.
