“Hilton HHonorsÒ Trip A Day Giveaway” SWEEPSTAKES

Eligibility: No purchase or contribution or hotel reservation or stay required to enter or win the "Hilton HHonorsÒTrip A Day Giveaway" Sweepstakes. No purchase of Internet access necessary to enter. This Sweepstakes is open only to natural persons who are, as of June 1, 2002, age 18 or older, and legal residents of the 50 United States (excluding Florida) and the District of Columbia (excluding its territories, military installations and commonwealths)and to residents of Canada (excluding Quebec), the United Kingdom and Germany, who are, as of June 1, 2002 over the age of majority in their province of residence. Purchasing, contribution, hotel reservation and/or hotel stay will not increase chances of winning. ("Hilton," as used in these Official Rules, means Hilton HHonors Worldwide, LLC, Hilton Hotels Corporation, Hilton International CO, their partnerships, subsidiaries and affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, partners, agents and employees.) Hilton employees, including their immediate families (spouse, children, siblings, parents and their respective spouses) and those living in their households, each of their advertising and promotion agencies, and their affiliates, licensees, subsidiaries, those involved in the development, production, implementation, and distribution of this Sweepstakes, and/or any other persons or entities associated with this Sweepstakes, including, but not limited to persons affiliated with Hilton, are not eligible to participate, win, or use the prizes.
Entry: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Central Time on June 1, 2002, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Central Time September 30, 2002 Hilton is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, for problems related to any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes, for any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Sweepstakes, for any human error, for any interruption, deletion, omission, defect, or line failure of any telephone network or electronic transmission, for problems relating to computer equipment, software, inability to access any Web site or on-line service, for any other technical or non-technical error or malfunction, for lost, late, stolen, illegible, incomplete, garbled, misdirected, mutilated or postage due mail or other mail or entries not received by the specified deadline for whatever reason. Illegible, incomplete and/or postage due entries will be disqualified. Entries become the property of Hilton and will not be returned. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted; and further cannot be played where commercially-sponsored sweepstakes or promotions such as this Sweepstakes are prohibited, restricted or subject to licensing or registration (except in the United States) by any national, state, local or other political division or subdivision. All applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply.
Conduct: If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical corruptions or failures, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Hilton which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Hilton reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and all of his or her Sweepstakes entries) who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes or the Internet/e-mail/electronic forms portion of the Sweepstakes and void such entries. Should the Sweepstakes or any portion thereof be suspended or terminated prior to the stated termination date, notice will be posted on Hilton’s home page (
www.hiltonhhonors.com). If such termination occurs, Hilton will award the prizes via random drawing from all eligible entries received prior to the date of termination.
To enter Sweepstakes, complete a Double Dip® stay at any participating HHonors hotel between June 1, 2002 and September 30, 2002. Your eligible stay during the days and months listed below will automatically enter you into the applicable drawing (as specified in the entry chart below). Your stay must be completed during the applicable day to be entered in that days’s drawing. You may also enter the Sweepstakes by sending a 3 " x 5 " white card (no mechanically produced or reproduced entries permitted) with your name, complete home address, home telephone number with area code printed on it, in a postage-paid hand-addressed #10 envelope (4 1/8" x 9 1/2 ") to the “ Hilton HHonors® Trip A Day Giveaway” Sweepstakes, c/o Roth Graham, Inc. P.O. Box 270090, Minneapolis, MN 55427-6090 (only one entry per envelope).
German residents may enter by sending a postcard (no stamp required), with your name, complete home address, home telephone number with area code, and age printed on it to: Ruckantwort, Hilton HHonors Trip A Day Giveaway, Postfach, 1418, 22784 HAMBURG. No mechanically produced or reproduced entries permitted.
UK residents may enter by sending a postcard (no stamp required), with your name, complete home address, home telephone number with area code, and age printed on it to: Hilton HHonors Trip A Day Giveaway, Phoenix Way, Cirencester, FL 7 1RY UNITED KINGDOM. No mechanically produced or reproduced entries permitted
Limit one entry per person per day regardless of method. By entering and participating you fully and unconditionally accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Hilton which shall be final. By entering, you also agree to waive any right to claim ambiguity or error in these Official Rules or in the Sweepstakes itself.
Entries must be received according to the Entry Chart below to be valid for the specified drawing.
The daily prize winner will be selected by random drawing on or about the date listed on the chart below, by Roth Graham, Inc. (whose decisions are final and binding in all respects relative to this Sweepstakes), from among all eligible entries received. Each daily drawing will consist of all eligible entries received as of the dates listed in the Entry Chart below. The potential winners will be notified by registered mail.
