I GENERALLY GO FOR HUES OF DIFFERENT STANDARDS.
MY FAVORITES THOUGH ARE:
lavenderblue, smokey blue, mauve, cameo pink, vanilla white, soft black, burnished copper, antiqued silver, lemon light yellow, bottle green, raspberry, deep electric blue, and candy apple red.

of course it depends on what i'm in the market for. clothes, cars, jewelry, home furnishings require diffferent colors.
