And plus, I didn't have a way to the post office, and I live in Arizona It's been hot here and I can't and won't drag my 3 year old son out in the heat to ride a bus to the post office. Now I have a car and can get to the post office. |
Thanks for your reply. I'm wondering if we are talking about the same trade though...The trade I'm referring to was suppose to have been sent out on or about 3-22-02.You said you just mailed it out...
In my humble opinion though, and I do not speak for anyone else,I follow through with the original agreement. If for some reason there is an extenuating circumstance preventing me from doing so,I send an email to the person letting them know why I have changed plans. I just think that is curteous.I try to regard a trade the same way I do a business transaction.
Again,my intent was not to offend you,but to try to gain some understanding of what happened.I don't think anyone would expect a person to drag a 3 year old out in high heat, but I also think it is reasonable for a person who goes into a trade to make clear what their intentions are & to reach a mutual understanding of the expectations. What I mean by this is:if you have no intent on mailing yours out at the same time or first~I think it is reasonable to expect you to inform the person you are trading with that this is your intent.
Thank you for your reply.I wish you well with your trading here at DOD & hope that you will take my advise in the "do unto other's" spirit in which it was intended.
