busyness is an unknown quantity
Last night's episode was actually the first one I saw this season. So, I had to choose my picks (for ultimate winner as well as who would be eliminated last night) by reading the info on the CBS web site and my own "gut instinct".

I was torn between voting for the twins, or Blake & Paige as the winners. I voted for the latter, but after watching last night's show, I'm regretting that.

And, speaking of regrets (attn: PHReD), Gary and Dave don't seem quite as hopeless on the show as they seemed from their bios on the CBS web site. (Is that an apology? )

On the other hand, what I read (on this board) about Tara and Will seems more and more accurate. Will is a jerk personified. However, Tara seems a bit pissy to me too.

I admire the Grannies for all that they're doing. I especially admire the one who wasn't as afraid to hang glide (Claire?), because she seems like the driving force between the two, yet tolerant of her partner's fears. You go "girls"!

I thought that having this show on right after Survivor last night offered a unique opportunity to compare the two. To me, the Amazing Race proved itself as just as good (in concept, production, etc.) as Survivor, if not better. I'm hoping that it gained some new fans last night.
