Hi everyone... I see a lot of people are having difficulty getting their images posted. Most times the OP will see the image but everyone else who views the post sees a white box and a red X.
Reasons things don't work as they should:
The image is on your harddrive and not on the internet, free image sites don't really allow you to use the image, the server is down, they took the image off the internet, copying and pasting doesn't work, etc. Any number of things can contribute to this.
Try registering and uploading your image at one of the following free sites:
http://www.villagephotos.com http://www.photobucket.com http://www.uploadyourimages.com/ http://imageshack.us/ http://tinypic.com/ http://www.shutterboard.com/upload/
Go into User CP (control panel) at DOD. This is on the left side of the top of page. Click on Edit Avatar.
For Avatar: You need 50 posts.
You can upload an image from your computer, or use the url from the hosting site. Make sure the size of your image is the allowed size or smaller. The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).
