We went to Club Oasis in Akumal, Mexico for our honeymoon. It's about 60 kilometers south of Cancun and is MUCH cheaper. It is all-inclusive - 3 meals a day, alcohol, acticities & equipment. The rooms are beautiful with Italian marble floors and so much more!
The snorkeling is absolutely incredible! It has a coral reef right off the beach. I strongly suggest taking an underwater camera since you can get some amazing shots!
