| I don't know about the best thing...well, my favorite New Year's Eve was 1982, when I was 18. I had plans with another guy, but broke them to go hang with an old boyfriend with whom I was still in love, plus a friend of his who was home from the service, and several of our mutual friends. We ate steak, lobster, broccoli casserole, and grasshopper cake, watched the GoGo's on New Year's Rockin' Eve, played pinball and had a wonderful evening of camaraderie.
