Alrighty then..this is what I am talking about...lol INPUT INPUT!

Welp, first off, I don't think this place is as downtown far enough to be in the seedy part. It's only 5 blocks from the strip. Actually it's less than 5 blocks and still close enough that we could walk to the strip if we wanted. Besides, who's gonna mess with a group of 20+ people like US. I'd like to see them try....LOL
I agree the strip is quite the happening place and I would love to stay right on the strip but I am trying to go for less expensive place to stay here so we have more money for the funner stuff. I really don't care where I sleep as long as I can still get to all the action when I am not sleeping...LOL This hotel is pretty much right in the middle of its own nightly festival called the Fremont Street Experience, which looks pretty dang awesome! And it also has it's own casinos and restaurants. So it's not really lacking in things to do if you prefer not to go to the strip.
I will do a check on Harrahs and post their rates and availability for April. I think I will also check out the Stratosphere and see what their rates are. IMHO, most of the places right on the strip are way too expensive to stay at when we could just as easily stay at a cheaper place, save some money and still be able to see the sites on the strip. If anyone wants to help do some searches on hotels and rates and availability, it sure would help. I'm not very familiar with all the hotels and places in LV enough to know which is a good place or bad place. All I am looking at here is expense per night per person. But if someone finds something worth paying the extra for, post it and let's weigh our options.
