LAS VEGAS HOTEL DEAL CHALLENGE!!

Can you outdo this deal? Post your finds here!

As far as airline flights to Vegas go, I don't think there is any kind of deal we could find that would suit everyone since it's going to depend upon where you are coming to Vegas from. So I guess we are on our own with that deal. But if anyone knows of the best place to get airline tickets, please let me know. I still haven't decided whether to fly or drive to Vegas yet.

Best deal I could come up for a hotel for all of us to meet and stay is this:

Some of you might find a cheap hotel pretty cheesy but if it's got a clean, comfy bed and clean, running water, I'll sleep anywhere.....LOL This one looks pretty nice though. I think the rates are so cheap because it's 5 blocks from the Strip.

Las Vegas Club Hotel & Casino - South Tower
(approx corner of Fremont & Main - 5 blocks from the Strip 'aka' Las Vegas Blvd)
18 E. Fremont St.
Las Vegas, NV 89101
(702) 385-1664
(800) 634-6532
(877) 621-ROOM
(There is also a part of this hotel called the North Tower and it is $10 more a night. I don't know what you get for the extra $10 a night though.)

Approx 20 minutes from
McCann International Airport (airport code - LAS)
5757 Wayne Newton Blvd.
Las Vegas NV 89101

www.playatlvc.com (Really cool looking hotel!)

Call 1-800-634-6532 for group rates of 10 or more room reservations. (I would call on this deal but I don't know how I could arrange to set this up unless I knew for sure there would be at least 10 rooms being reserved.)

*These rates are for checking in on a Friday and staying at least two nights. They require the Friday check-in. Can't check in on a Saturday.*
Weekend of:
April 6th - $49.00 a night ($69.00 4 ppl to a room) (check in Fri, Apr 5th)
April 13th - $54.00 a night ($74.00 4 ppl to a room) (check in Fri, Apr 12th)
April 20th - $49.00 a night ($69.00 4 ppl to a room) (check in Fri, Apr 19th)
April 27th - $54.00 a night ($74.00 4 ppl to a room) (check in Fri, Apr 26th)

Batter Up! The Las Vegas Club Hotel and Casino offers a charming and whimsical tribute to America's national pastime. Card dealers wear old-school baseball jerseys emblazoned with the hotel's name, the sports book and casino on the north side of the property stirs remembrances of Wrigley Field and the restaurants and bars honor stars of the sport.
The rooms are clean, comfortable and reasonably priced, with eight luxury suites going the extra yard. A number of restaurants, including the Zagat award-winning Great Moments Room and Lounge, serve a wide field of tastes. The 40,000 square-foot casino offers a full roster of gaming diversions. All in all, the Las Vegas Club keeps its bases covered.

**Pandys Pros: This place sounds like it offers everything we could want to do. It has cheap but nice rooms, restaurants, casinos, a small gift shop and a meeting place if we needed it. My whole objective to this trip is to meet everyone, hang out and maybe play a few slots. I don't have any desire to see a show while I am there. But if we did want to go to the strip, we could either walk there or hail a cab there. But I hope to spend most of my time hanging out with everyone and eating...LOL

**Pandys Cons: No pool, no shuttle service to the strip and no daycare facilities (I am not bringing my child but someone else asked about daycare facilities and this place has none.)

Can you beat this deal? I hope so!
