After they're quarantined, it's safe to delete them. I had 2 quarantined a while back and because I uninstall and install Norton 2002 I was surprised that it still had the old files kept for me in a log. I went in today and deleted them. Poof, they are gone. You'll get a message asking if you really want to delete and then do it. I like Norton 2002. Always working in the background. I take it on and off because I just don't want it running all the time. When new scares come out I put it back. Housecall is good for a quickie checkup. Also, the problem with anti-virus is it doesn't ALWAYS find trojans. There are some neat li'l programs out that check for those. Lots of email virals are trojan horses.
