I think ebay is for sellers, too, but I recently bought a video game for $15-$18 cheaper than I could find it anywhere in my area. I was unsure about what I wanted to pay and didn't put a maximum bid. Went back half an hour before it closed and ended up winning.
I think you can find deals but many people pay way too much! I often wondered if sellers manipulated the bids. It seems like it would be fairly easy to do.
