I'm guessing this is a 2-3 year old software that is out of production. As far as I can tell, the company that wrote it is also gone. I doubt you'll find it at a "new software" seller (like amazon), so you might be forced to go to places like ebay.
FWIW, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this from an ebay seller. I am very familiar with ebay, computers, fraud, etc., and typically it doesn't happen in low-cost, obsolete software products.
however, I think its overpriced here...$9 + $5 shipping sounds too high for me (but if it works for you, go for it!). I suspect if you "wait and watch" you might find it there cheaper eventually, since the current seller isn't getting much action on this batch.
Look for it to be $5.99 in two weeks...
