 Atkins was a true pioneer
The US Congress and AMA never apologized for wrongly indicting him of fraud (even though hes being proved right). He was also a pioneer in preventitive medicine, my dad said when he first came to America (1963) Atkins and Pauling were the only "quacks" telling people to take vitamins and herbs!!!
