My DH is not allowed to touch the laundry either. He did the laundry one time to help me out. Well, when we came home and I went to the basement to put the clothes in the dryer, I found my basement flooded! He overloaded the washer and a pair of his boxers that he sleeps in went over the tub and into the drain tube clogging it.
I fixed the "throwing clean clothes in the laundry". My daughter has to do her own laundry now.
